What has remained of that era is an atmosphere of casual elegance and a relaxing environment for business or pleasure. The entrance hall is decorated with original Puerto Rican art (as are all the individually decorated bedrooms) leading off onto interconnecting patios shaded by bougainvilleas and royal palms. Balconies and walkways lead to hidden corners for reading, terracotta tiled sun decks and a covered terrace melt away the day with the jingle of wind chimes, from whence the guest house gets its name. Just past the Gardens you will discover the Tiki Boat Bar where tropical frozen drinks and gourmet sandwiches are served by the deck hands for a discerning pallet as is fresh brewed Puerto Rican coffee and a gourmet breakfast of your selection every morning. Days may be spent lounging around our pool with its built in Jacuzzi bench and effervescent water-wall, or head down to famous Condado beach j ust a block away, the finest stretch of sand in San Juan.
